Building Features - Proprietors Fields constructed in November 1979 is located just off of Main St., in Williamstown. A short walk or bus ride will bring you to the center of town. The town senior center or Harper Center is located adjacent to the Proprietors Fields property and offers many activities including hot lunches, exercise, dance and cooking classes, health clinics, bingo, bridge, entertainment and social functions. Transportation is also provided for medical and social appointments, grocery shopping and banking and visiting to local nursing homes. Some of these activities require a voluntary donation.
Waiting List Selection - Waiting list selection will be done on a first come first serve basis in accordance with date and time of application. HUD requires that a percentage of units be rented to applicants with lower incomes that are listed. Please note that this may affect the selection order of applicants.
Rents - Rents are based on 30% of monthly income with allowances for ongoing medical expenses and electricity. Heat, hot water, and appliances are included in the rent. (Please see information on rents for Bradford Arms)
Pets - Pets are allowed in accordance with Berkshire Housing's pet policy.
Social Services Department - A Social Service Coordinator is on staff at Berkshire Housing to assist residents with assessment and provide coordination of needed services for a healthy, safe and happy living environment.

(There is no elevator service at Bostwick Garden or Proprietors Fields). Many sites have an outdoor sitting area. Ample parking is available at most sites, however some are limited.
